Birds UK Right-Hand Drive Conversion
This E30 M3 was professionally converted to Right-Hand Drive by *Birds UK*, the renowned BMW specialist that became the recognised authority for RHD E30 M3 conversions during the late 1980s and early 1990s. At a time when BMW UK could not supply factory-built RHD E30 M3s in sufficient numbers, Birds carried out conversions for both private clients and BMW main dealers using genuine BMW components.
The conversion included:
• Genuine BMW steering system and dashboard
• Pedal box and braking components
• Wiring loom and electrical systems
• Carpets and interior trim
• Wiper mechanism and associated components
Completed to an exceptionally high standard, the conversion is often mistaken for a factory-built RHD example. Birds’ reputation for engineering excellence and their expertise in E30 suspension and engine development make their involvement a significant asset for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
